Tuesday 5th March - bike ** – Around Felixstowe – Light rain.

Wow, how can two days be so different, after yesterdays frosty sunny day we had lots of cloud with light rain for a lot of the time! So exercises after breakfast and at midday with Mag walking to Lidl I decided to brave the drizzle and head out on my bike for some reason I cant understand:) I headed down to Felixstowe dock view point via Langer Park to check the heavy plant reinstating the beach which has disappeared of late, I am sure the dredging to the channel does not help! The action had caused a little crowd with people watching the huge lorries and bulldozer! I then continued to the new concrete walkway at the end of Landguard to take some pics. I then whizzed through the nature reserve and around to the prom with the drizzle still falling. At the Fludyers I headed inland to Church Lane, turning left along a very wet Ferry Lane and back to Felixstowe. A quick 10 miles, out for just over an hour inn time to dry out, have lunch and head around to old friend Mary for a cuppa and cake:)
